Karis Anderson (born 17 October 1989) is 1/3 of the British girl band Stooshe. She is the oldest member of Stooshe and was the last to join.
Biography[]

Karis Lya Anderson, was born and raised in Brixton in South London. She was educated at The Brit School in Croydon, London. She joined the band on 1 January 2011. Anderson is of Yoruba (a tribe from southwestern and north-central Nigeria), Italian & Jamaican descent, she is also bisexual.
She also has a blog called Karis With Love.
Theatre[]
In December 2017 she played Genie of the Ring in the West End show of Aladdin. In February/March 2018 she portrayed PP Arnold in the new West End show of All Or Nothing. In 2018-20 she played Diana Ross in Motown. In 2022-24 she starred in the West End show of Tina Turner: The Musical as Tina Turner and as Ikette/Ensemble (selected dates).
